(Business in Cameroon) - The 2015 International Cameroonian Cocoa Festival (Festicacao) will be held from December 3-5, 2015 in some production areas of the country, announces Interprofessional Cocoa and Coffee Board (CICC) in its report “summary of the 2014-2015 cocoa season” published on August 7.

Festicacao 2015 will be based on the general theme of “Women in Cocoa”, a means of paying homage to the contributions made by women in the development of the cocoa economy in Cameroon and advocate for the recognition of this major role which is very often overlooked.

The 2015 edition of the Cameroonian cocoa event will also be the opportunity to promote the local processing of cocoa beans, announced CICC, as well as the consumption of cocoa bi-products.
