(Business in Cameroon) - The cities of Nobolen and Balamba, all located in the Central region of Cameroon, will soon host two incubation centres for agricultural entrepreneurs with the support of the International Agricultural Development Fund (FIDA in French), we learned during the recent visit in Cameroon of the Regional Director of this organisation, Ides de Willebois.

The Cameroonian Minister of Agriculture, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, informed that these centres, which will be set up as part of the Programme for the promotion of farming entrepreneurship within the youth (PEA-JEUNE), will allow the youth to become knowledgeable and seasoned in farming activities and product processing.

According to our sources, no less than 4,000 hectares have already been made available for the implementation of these projects, which are aligned with the ambitions of the Cameroonian government to move toward a second-generation agriculture.
