(Business in Cameroon) - The business, SME and partnership event, Promote, has become a regional and international reference. This year’s event has come at a time of political measures that will influence our economy. This took the form of the passing and promulgation of a bill to encourage private investment with five to ten-year exemptions for investors.

There is also a 5% reduction in corporate taxes and the removal of the VAT on plane tickets issued by travel agencies. Then, this year, Cameroon ratified the EPAs, opening a new era of cooperation with the EU. They represent a real challenge for Cameroonian companies.
