(Business in Cameroon) - The contract to provide 1,000 tonnes of phosphate steel wire to be used for wrapping cotton ball packaging at Sodecton, for the 2015-2016 cotton season accounts, has just been handed to DTS company and Partners Consulting according to Cameroonian Minister of Public Contracts release.

According to the terms of this contract worth 950 million FCFA, a first order of 400 tonnes is to be delivered in 90 days, starting from the order notification day, while the other 600 tonnes will be delivered in two tranches of 300 tonnes in respective deadlines of 120 and 150 days.

In order to finance the current cotton season, Sodecton, which aims for a production of 266,400 tonnes in 2015-2016, raised financing totalling 36.5 billion FCFA from a pool of five local banks. This was on 27th January 2015.
