(Business in Cameroon) - Cameroon is welcoming a distinguished guest this 28 November 2016. Indeed, the Senegalese Head of State, Macky Sall, is expected in the Cameroonian capital at 11h30, according to the official programme communicated by the private office of the President of the Republic of Cameroon.

The visit of Macky Sall, who will step foot in Cameroon for the first time since taking over Senegal’s highest office, will last 24 hours, we learned. During his brief stay in Cameroon, the Senegalese Head of State will have a private meeting with his Cameroonian counterpart, Paul Biya. This meeting between the two Heads of State will certainly give them the opportunity to revisit the political and economic cooperation between the two countries. As a reminder, on 7 December 2015, by receiving a Cameroonian delegation on the fringes of the International Dakar Fair, the Senegalese President clearly showed the interest of his country to strengthen its economic cooperation with Cameroon.

“Cameroon is in our eyes a friend, a very important country on the continent. It has an important economic potential. It is a country deserving of our attention and we are ready to reinforce our exchanges”, President Macky Sall declared.
