(Business in Cameroon) - The result of the Israeli-Cameroonian cooperation in the ICT sector, the High-Tech Center of the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Yaoundé, in the capital of the country, was the venue for open days organised on 28 September 2016, the Embassy of Israel in Cameroon announced in an official communiqué.

According to this diplomatic representation, this event’s objectives were, amongst others, to “raise the public profile of the Center and raise awareness on the existence of the most advanced excellence Center of this type in Africa; get to know the advantages of the existing facilities in order to improve the High Tech sector and start-ups in the Cameroonian society; and bring to light the extension the cooperation between Israel and Cameroon in the education and High Tech sector”.

As a reminder, the High Tech Center of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique has been operating since 2012. Its objective is to make available to Cameroonian industries a workforce who will contribute to making Cameroon a rising country by 2035.
