According to information revealed about the project during a workshop organised in Yaoundé last week, the project’s name is Projet d’électrification rurale et d’accès à l’énergie dans les zones sous-desservies au Cameroun (Perace), and, it will be implemented in Six regions namely, the Northwest, the Southwest, Adamaoua, the North, the Far-north and the East.

Thanks to that project, electricity will be provided to about 370,000 households. The project will require more than CFA130 billion and, it will be financially backed by partners such as the European Investment Bank, credible sources reveal.
