(Business in Cameroon) - Victoria Oil & Gas PLC, an oil and gas company listed in London and owning 100% of the company Gaz du Cameroon (GDC), announced on 20 November the withdrawal of James McBurney from the board after his resignation from his non-executive Director post. Mr.McBurney's resignation follows his establishment in the USA"for professional activities in the alternative fuels sector", the company specified. Kevin Foo, President of Victoria Oil & Gas, commended the dynamism and professionalism of McBurney at the head of the Board. "Without a doubt, his contribution made us a better company. I wish him the best in his new endeavours in the USA", he added.

James McBurney leaves Victoria Oil & Gas in a period of great stride forward for the subsidiary of Gaz de Cameroon (GDC), a key figure in the natural gas supply sector in Cameroon.

GDC is in full attack through the increase of its customer base with three important companies Dangote Cement Cameroon S.A., New Foods and Société Industrielle Camerounaise des Cacaos S.A.
