(Business in Cameroon) - The international investors’ week, organized in all the members countries of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, will be held in Cameroon from October 2 to 8, the financial markets’ commission (Commission des Marchés Financier-CMF),the regulatory body of the Douala Stock Exchange(DSX) revealed in an official statement .

According to CMF, this event which main purpose ‘’is to promote greater education and better protection for investors  on capital markets”, will focus on  “keynote conference on information and protection for investors, contests to promote investors’ awareness initiatives, dedicated conferences and workshops as well as national or regional communication and awareness campaigns depending on the jurisdictions”.

The keynote conference’s topic will be: “protecting investors for a dynamic financial market” will be held next October 2 in the premises of the inter-employers' Group of Cameroon (Groupement inter-patronal du Cameroun –GICAM)
