(Business in Cameroon) - The insurance policy for Cameroon’s airport personnel and public companies responsible for managing the country’s airport platforms will be underwritten this year by Samaritan Insurance, a local company. This was the news revealed in a press release issued by the Cameroonian Minister of Public Contracts, Abba Sadou.
According to the document, the deal handed to Samaritan Insurance is worth 1.6 billion FCfa for a period of 36 months. Samaritan Insurance beat out insurance sector giants such as Chanas, Beneficial General, Axa Cameroun, or the local subsidiary of the Colina Group to cop the deal.
