(Business in Cameroon) - Fifteen Cameroonian startups took part in the national selection phase of Seedstars World on September 29, 2017, in Douala. Out of those fifteen, only one must be selected to represent Cameroon for Seedstars Africa, the regional summit of Seedstars World in Africa, on December 12-14, 2017, in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

It is GiftedMom, a platform which relies on artificial intelligence to provide democratized access to health information and remote medical assistance. This startup founded by Alain Nteff, an engineer, will compete to be selected for the world summit of Seedstars Wold which grant startups up to $1 million (around CFA550 billion) as financial support and other prizes as well as an opportunity to reach a global network of investors.

To reach the world stage, GiftedMom, which received many prizes nationally and internationally, will compete against 16 African startups which were selected by Seedstars World in 20 African countries during the local competition stage.
