22M PNDP Infrastructure in the West

– (Business in Cameroon) - The Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, through the National Community Driven Development Programme, PNDP, has realized infrastructure projects in the West Region to the tune of 22.8 million CFA francs.

Minister Emannuel Nganou Djoumessi officially inaugurated the classrooms, latrines and water points on Friday September 13, 2013 in Bamefap, Bamenkombo, Mbouda Sub-division. According to Cameroon Tribune, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the work done and promised government’s continuous efforts to stand by the population for a better living.

According to the PNDP Coordinator for the West Region, Boniface Megouo, the programme between 2004 and 2009 financed 158 micro projects in the Region to the tune of 3.5 billion CFA francs.
