(Business in Cameroon) - In a communiqué signed published in the State owned Cameroon tribune on Friday April 26, 2013, the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in Charge of the Supreme State Audit, Henri Eyebe Ayissi announced that the Financial and Budget Disciplinary Council (CDBF) of his ministry has found the Former interim General Manager of the national Civil engineering equipment pool (MATGENIE) guilty of 10 management pitfalls.
Amounting to 43,898,793 francs CFA, the mismanagement errors were committed between 2007 and 2009. He is expected to pay 2 million francs CFA for his faults.
Seating from October 3 to 15, 2013, CDBF also pined the present GM of MATGENIE, Niwa Long Othon for four errors in mismanagement that cost his corporation 4,358,605 francs CFA from June to December 2009.
CDBF fined him 1.5 million francs CFA for all the errors.
In the same institution, the former branch Manager of the Littoral agency, Benjamin Noumesi is guilty of mismanaging 16,112,000 francs CFA between 2007 and 2009, and is to pay a fine of one million francs CFA.
As for the former branch Manager of the MATGENIE’s center agency, Nzana Firmin, he will pay milion 500,000 francs for mismanaging 15,565,000 francs CFA.
