Fourth edition of Cameroonian SMEs day to be held on December 19-21 in Yaoundé

(Business in Cameroon) - The Yaoundé congress center will host the fourth edition of the Cameroonian SMEs day, from December 19th to 21st, 2017. This was disclosed by Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa, Cameroon SMEs’ minister.

The event whose theme is “Promoting entrepreneurship and innovative SMEs for a strong and inclusive growth”, will allow SMEs to display their expertise and discuss major challenges they face.  

According to the latest census of companies conducted by Cameroon’s national institute of statistics (INS), SMEs constitute about 90% of the country’s industrial fabric but, they experience many challenges; access to funding being one the most important.
