(Business in Cameroon) - On March 12, 2014, the Cameroonian government and the European Union delegation to Cameroon launched the project for a new integrated system for personnel and pay management for government workers. The system will involve the merger of the “Antilope” software used for pay management and “Sigipes”, the State’s personnel management software.

The new project is a part of the Public Finance Reform Support Programme (Parfip), one of the EU-Cameroon cooperation programmes and is worth an estimated 7.67 billion FCfa (11.7 million euros).

According to the EU, the project is “a major step in the implementation process for the Information Technology master plan adopted by the government in 2012 with the aim being to build an integrated system for managing public finance”.
