(Business in Cameroon) - The 22 decentralised local governments in the Adamaoua region, in norther Cameroon, are seeking funding to carry out 260 projects, we learned during an investors’ roundtable organised by the local section of Communes et Villes Unies du Cameroun (CVUC – United Boroughs and Cities of Cameroon)

All these projects, which require a global sum of FCfa 25 billion, according to our sources, interested some sponsors. These are mainly Feicom, the Cameroonian boroughs’ bank, who has already promised to release FCfa 2.6 billion for said projects.

At this same roundtable, the management of the Programme national de Développement Participatif (PNDP – National Participative Development Program), headed by the Cameroonian Ministry of Economy, revealed that FCfa 4 billion will be invested in Adamaoua, as part of the 3rd phase roll-out.
