(Business in Cameroon) - To keep the momentum in the promotion of Cameroonian companies and seize all partnership opportunities with foreign companies, the Cameroonian government will launch from 2018 in Douala, the economic capital of the country, the Foire Internationale des Affaires et du Commerce (FIAC - International Business and Trade Fair).

According to Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Miniter of Commerce, who revealed this information, FIAC will be held in rotation with the Enterprise, SME and Partnership Fair, whose 6th edition closed on 19 February 2017 on the hill of the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé. With approximately 1,300 companies in attendance. Just like Promote, FIAC will be organised by the Inter-progress Foundation.

We can recall that to enable the organisation of the first edition of this fair, the 2017 budget of the Ministry of Commerce submitted for approval to the members of Parliament was increased by over FCfa 2 billion.
