(Business in Cameroon) - The Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, Lim Jae-Hoon, has just signed a donation agreement with the Cameroonian government, totalling 2 billion FCFA for training Cameroonian experts in the area of renewable energies and the securing of electronic communications.

This donation agreement comes only days after the inauguration of Cameroon’s first emergency medical centre in the country’s capital, Yaoundé. Two billion FCFA of the 3 billion FCFA investment will be financed by Korea.

Currently, Korea, which is financing the construction of the Garoua general hospital, is also committed to promoting rice cultivation in Cameroon, as well as training, thanks to the ongoing construction of centres excellence in some cities.
