(Business in Cameroon) - Members of the Nigerian Islamist sect Boko Haram carried out on 25 January 2016 in the town of Bodo, located approximately 60 km from the city of Kousséri in Cameroon’s Extreme-North, four suicide attacks which left 32 people dead and about 70 injured, we learned from trusted sources.

This is the deadliest attack by the Boko Haram sect in Cameroon since the change in the operating mode last year, with the new procedure putting the accent on kamikaze attacks instead of armed clashes with the Cameroonian defence forces.

For the record, according to an assessment made by the Cameroonian government a few days ago, between 2013 and 2015, exactions by the Nigerian sect on Cameroonian soil have already caused over 1,000 deaths.
