(Business in Cameroon) - The Cameroonian Minister of Postal Services and Telecommunications, Jean Pierre Biyiti Bi Essam, launched an international call for expressions of interest on June 18. This concerned the conducting of a study that should give rise to a detailed, technical study to determine the government’s real needs in terms of internet connectivity.

The study will also enable the determination of the authorities’ needs in terms of infrastructural sharing, data transmission, the putting in place of an information sharing platform between administrations and the billing for telecommunication consumption by the government.

This action by the ministry aims to get a firm grasp of government consumption. This will be done in the central services of government offices.
