“The operation 500,000 computers offered to Cameroonian students, following a decision taken by the highest authorities in the country, generated a lot of interest at Orange Cameroun. We have already, at this stage, expressed our intention and readiness to support in the realisation of this initiative, particularly with regards to aspects where our expertise can be of service, here the case being connectivity challenges”, Ms Medou also revealed.

Through these two initiatives, we learned, the Cameroonian subsidiary of Orange is considering not only “taking advantage of the digitisation of exchanges, as a important leverage of access to knowledge”, but also supporting the country in its move towards digital economy.
