(Business in Cameroon) - By presidential decree published Friday, June 14, 2013, Frederick Mbotto Edimo was appointed Deputy General Manager of Camair-Co. He was previously Cameroon representative of the Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA). His appointment confirmed the proposal by the Board of Directors of the airliner.

Former Acting Director of the Regional School of Air Navigation and Management, Special Advisor to the Director of Research and Strategy (the current CEO), Head of Department at ASECNA’s headquarters in Senegal among others, Frédéric Mbotto Edimo is an engineer of arts and crafts, and has held many positions in ASECNA.

Aged 58, married with five children, he worked in, among others in the construction of roads; Yagoua-Kaélé, Guide-Bidzar or lots 4 and 5 of the Douala-Yaoundé roads when he was at the former Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
