(Business in Cameroon) - On May 9, 2018, Samuel Ivaha Diboua, governor of the coastal region inaugurated SABC’s new bottling chain at Koumassi in Douala.

During the ceremony, Emmanuel De Tailly, the managing director of SABC informed that the chain was built within 5 months and required CFA4 billion. According to the managing director, it is proof that Cameroon’s industrial excellence is working for Cameroon not to become an industrial desert.

Let’s note that before Koumassi, the group had inaugurated another chain at Ndokoti and another one in Bafoussam in February 2018.

For the group, these investments reflects its will to keep the status of industry leader and remain competitive.. In that regard, they are proud to have invested CFA45 billion in their agribusiness ecosystem where they have valorized by more than 10,000 tons of corn and 30,000 tons of sugar produced locally.
