(Business in Cameroon) - Telcar Cocoa, local dealer of the American firm Cargill, wishes to reach the cap of 100,000 tons of cocoa purchased during the 2018-2019 cocoa campaign. This has been revealed by internal sources in the company.
If the company fulfill its ambition, it will comfort its leadership in the Cameroonian market since the figure projected represents about 50% of the national production which averages 230,000 tons for years now.
It should be reminded that during the 2016-2017 cocoa campaign, Telcar cocoa has bought 74,000 tons of cocoa out of which 43,700 tons were certified cocoa.
