(Business in Cameroon) - On August 8, 2018, at the launch of the 6th edition of Festival international du cacao camerounais (Festicacao), which will end today August 9, Cameroon's trade minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana (photo) praised the expertise, creativity and inventiveness of local transformers (craftsmen and industrials).

Indeed, a visit to the various exhibition stands highlights inventiveness of small-scale processors vying in creativity.

This is the case of Garyland International, an SME which offers stuffed chips (fried plantain dressed with cocoa beans and date paste) and Thot Cocoa which reminds of the well known Martini.

Apart from those products which attracted the participants, there were also traditional products such as cocoa butter, cocoa-based cosmetics and the renowned chocolate fountain which has become the main attraction of this celebration of Cameroon's Cocoa in the past 6 years.
