The group expects to sell 5,010,989 hectoliters (501.09 million liters) of beer, up by 5.9% compared to the volume sold in 2017. They also want to launch a programme aimed at choosing brand ambassadors to represent the SABC.
For Alcohol Mix, SABC estimates that it will sell 376,400 hectoliters (37.64 million liters) this year, a volume up by 14.2% compared to that sold in 2017 by notably launching the 4th flavor of the brand Booster.
This year, SABC also expects its sales of soft drinks to rise by 6.4% (base year: 2017) to stand at 2,932,284 hectoliters (293.22 million liters) thanks to a new management structure and the solidity of the company’s fundamentals.
As for the water segment, the estimate is 806,000 hectoliters (80.6 million liters) representing a 37.8% growth compared to the volume sold in 2017. SABC reveals that it will achieve this thanks namely to the segmentation of the brands and prices, its distribution power as well as the marketing campaigns that will focus on comparative advantages (quality, expertise, and availability).
