CEMAC: Beac launched a new bid to pump CFA265bn into banks

(Business in Cameroon) - The Bank of Central African States (Beac) launched a new call for tenders to inject CFA265 billion into banks operating within the CEMAC area, as part of its money market.

The resource which will be available from September 13 to 20, is set at the minimum official rate of 2.95%. Subscription deadline is today September 12.

Thanks to such operations, through weekly tenders, the central bank has already invested around CFA3,000 billion.
