After Gabon, Bgfibank launches banking services at night in Cameroon

(Business in Cameroon) - BgfiBank announced that from now on, its offices will remain open until 8 PM. The banking group explained that the service, called “BgfiNight”, is an “exclusive offer” which extends the normal working hours. Indeed, until 8 PM, a dedicated team is available to provide “secure” services to customers.

Such a service was initiated in Gabon in April 2016 and, it was called « BgfiTime ». For the purpose of this services, the bank’s offices close at 8 PM from Monday to Friday instead of 5 pm like other banks. So, the banks’ customers can complete their banking transactions till nightfall.

BgfiBank Cameroon shares’ are increasing every year. Indeed, it was ranked, at the end of December 2015, 6th largest bank by volume of loans granted and 8th for the volume of deposits, among 15 banks.  

BgfiBank Cameroon’s performance is reflected by the significant increase in its credit portfolio (CFA114.470 billion in 2013, against CFA132.807 billion in 2014 and CFA172.415 billion in 2015), and a moderate increase in the deposits (CFA103.744 billion in 2013, against CFA148.425 billion in 2014, and CFA159.403 billion in 2015).
