Robert Helou appointed new Administrator General of Nestle Cameroon

(Business in Cameroon) - Robert Helou replaced, since March 1, Thomas Caso as the Administrator General of Nestle Cameroon, subsidiary of Swiss food giant. The new executive will also handle businesses in Gabon, Chad, CAR, Congo, DRC, Equatorial Guinea and São Tomé and Príncipe, with the core mission of ‘speeding up Nestle Cameroon’s growth and consolidating its leading position in the agribusiness segment in Central Africa,’ an official note revealed.

Prior to his appointment, Robert Helou was sales manager at Nestle Saudi Arabia. He holds an MBA obtained from Quebec University, Montreal.

“I am very glad about this opportunity to pursue Nestle's mission which is to improve the quality of life and contribute to a healthier future for individuals and families in Central Africa. I have a strong ambition to contribute to the socio-economic development of Cameroon and the sub-region by accelerating Nestle's growth while respecting employees, society, diversity and the future,” said Robert Helou.
