(Business in Cameroon) - In Cameroon, Matgénie will handle, for a renewable 3-year period, all of Kribi port’s construction projects. This was the main message contained in an agreement signed on September 27, 2019, between the port and Matgénie (both state-owned).

According to official sources, during the contract’s lifetime, Matgénie will supply construction materials to Kribi port at preferential rates. Among other duties, it will also ensure the execution of civil works and train the port’s technical staff.

Formerly dedicated to acquisition, leasing, and maintenance of construction equipment, Matgénie was reorganized in 2015 making it a full-time construction company.
