(Business in Cameroon) - A mixed commission meeting between Cameroon and Ivory Coast to discuss cooperation between the two countries and how it could be improved upon for their mutual benefit will hold in Abidjan from March 5-7, 2014.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the second Ivory Coast Business Forum in Cameroon’s economic capital, Douala, Ivory Coast’s Ambassador to Cameroon, Adama Dosso, said the mixed commission meeting will be a veritable moment for the two countries to chart the way forward in their win-win cooperation.

In an interview granted Cameroon Tribune, Ivory Coast’s Minister of Trade and Small and Medium-size Enterprises, Jean Louis Billion said trade ties between the two countries were in the neighbourhood of 60 billion CFA francs in 2012, up from 22 billion CFA francs in 2008. Even though the trade balance, he said, is in favour of Ivory Coast, all is being done not only to balance it but to boost it as well.
