(Business in Cameroon) - The towns of Sangmelima in the South, Limbe in the South-West and douala, in the Littoral region now have Professional Training Centres of Excellence (CFPE). These training centres with ultra-modern equipment were all commissioned last week by the Cameroonian Prime Minister, Philémon Yang.

The results of the cooperation with South Korea, these training establishments, which cost no less than FCfa 24 billion, will help in “improving the quantitative and qualitative offer in terms of professional training, for the successful integration of youth and jobseekers”, claims the Minister of Employment and Professional Development, Zacharie Perevet.

The construction of these centres started in 2013. They will enable the training, in short courses, of hundreds of young Cameroonians in 14 selected professions, among which are wood processing, mechanics, clothing industry, electricity and electronics, IT and multimedia, accommodation services, etc.
