BEAC’s XAF60 bln liquidity offer oversubscribed at 276%

(Business in Cameroon) - The liquidity offer issued by BEAC on September 4, 2019, was concluded with 276% subscription rate.

According to official results, demands received amounted to XAF165.5 billion while it was only offering XAF60 billion. In addition, the weighted average interest rate for the liquidities finally adjudicated is 6%, about twice the prime rate within CEMAC.
