Cameroon wants to establish a new public electric power transport company

(Business in Cameroon) - The Minister of Energy and Water, Basile Atangana Kouna had announced last Monday in Cameroon Tribune that government is considering a second electricity distribution company.

“Various projects are being undertaken by the AES - Sonel to improve the quality of service.

Even better, the government is considering the establishment, shortly a public transport company of electric power, according to the new electricity law enacted on December 14, 2011 by the Head of State,” he said.
