(Business in Cameroon) - Last October 3, 2019, in Cotonou, Benin, members of the administrative board of the African Fund of Guarantee and Economic Cooperation (Fagace) appointed Cameroonian native Basile Tchakounté as the acting managing director of Fagace.

He is replacing Ivorian native Minafou Fanta Coulibaly-Koné who, appointed in 2017 for a 4-year term, has been called for new responsibilities in her native country.

Before his appointment, Basile Tchakounté was the operations manager at the Fagace. He has also been the financial director of regional finance institution BDEAC.
