Cameroon starts roadshow for the new CFA150 billion bond issuance

(Business in Cameroon) - The Cameroonian minister of finance, Louis Paul Motazé, along with the pool of banks selected for the CFA150 billion bond issuance, which the government is to launch on the Douala Stock Exchange, start today October 25 the roadshow, in Yaoundé.

The goal is basically to convince investors to subscribe to the new public offering. The event will continue tomorrow October 26 in Douala.

Called “ECMR 5.6% net 2018-2023”, the bond issue will be subscribed over the period from October 29 to November 9.

Let’s mention that the money to be raised will be used to conduct or finalize some 40 infrastructure projects in progress in the country's 10 regions, the great majority of which will be used to organize the 2019 African Cup of Nations football event.
