(Business in Cameroon) - In the coming days, the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries (Minepia) will launch a national campaign to vaccinate 11 million small ruminants against plague, official statements informed.
This campaign follows the successful pilot phase which a few months ago vaccinated one million small ruminants in two departments of the Far North region.
The operation will be organized as part of the Livestock Development Project (Prodel), financed up to CFA60 billion by the World Bank. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is also supporting the project, Minepia officials said.
