(Business in Cameroon) - The Cameroonian capital is hosting since 15 May 2017, and this until 17 May, an international forum on digital economy with the theme: “How to achieve a successful digital economy in Cameroon?”. The event is under the patronage of the Cameroonian Head of State, Paul Biya.

According to the organisers, the objectives of this international forum, we learned, are to create the conditions for Cameroon’s successful move to the digital economy; to present the advantages of the digital economy in Cameroon; raise international funds for innovative projects in the digital economy sector in Cameroon.

This major event, which will be characterised by a Professional Digital Show, showcasing Cameroon’s assets in this sector, is an adequate networking opportunity for experts and international investors, particularly northern Americans, and Cameroonian players and operators in the public and private sectors, as well as young entrepreneurs, start-up creators and sponsors of relevant and innovative projects in the digital sector”, stresses the official press release of the event.
