(Business in Cameroon) - Société anonyme des brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) informs that Namé Recycling will recycle all the plastic wastes it produces in Cameroon. This was set in an agreement the brewery group just signed with the waste recycling company.
SABC also reveals that this year, its objective is to recycle 30 million plastic bottles (three times the volume recycled in 2017). “The second phase is about domestic wastes. Objective: recover 80% of the bottles produced”, the group said.
Let’s remind that in 2016, in partnership with HYSACAM, SABC recovered 2 million bottles in Yaoundé and Douala, this within two weeks. As far as Namé Recycling is concerned, it succeeded in eliminating plastic wastes in Limbé.
