(Business in Cameroon) - In Cameroon, commitments on State budget will end next November 15, and not on November 30 as usual. This was revealed in a bulletin transmitted to the budget managers by the finance minister Louis Paul Motazé (photo).

By ending commitments ahead of schedule, we learnt, the minister triggered a provision of the State’s new financial regime and is considering ways to clear previous commitments on schedule, thus avoiding arrears from one budget year to another.

According to the bulletin, the suspension of these commitments will benefit from support of the finance ministry officials who will soon be deployed in the field for this purpose.
