(Business in Cameroon) - Workers can peacefully continue the construction of Douala-Yaoundé road. This was revealed on February 20, 2018, after a meeting to discuss the project’s progress.

During the meeting, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, the minister of public works, announced that as of the coming week, the government would continue the compensation of residents whose lands would be used.

It should be reminded that China First Highway Engineering Company (CFHEC), the company in charge of the construction, had claimed that these compensations were the major problem for the continuation of work’s progress.
