(Business in Cameroon) - Ahead of the albino people’s international day to be celebrated on June 13, 2018, the Cameroonian albino association APEAC inaugurated a grinding mill in Bomono on June 6, 2018.

According to official sources, the mill was entirely constructed and equipped thanks to funds from SCB Cameroon, the local subsidiary of Attijariwafa bank.

Thanks to this mill, the members of APEAC can generate revenues in Bomono where cassava plantations guarantee that the mill will be prosperous.

Mohammed Mejbar, managing director of SCB Cameroon explained that in the request for support, APEAC indicated that its members were forced to live in precarity because of their condition (albinism). The bank being sensitive to human conditions has decided to grant this support.
