Christophe Eken, president of Cameroon’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Artisans (CCIMA), who met them indicates that during the visit, the Belgians were able to connect with Cameroonian partners. They are notably Cocoa producers and sellers, port authorities, importers, forwarding agents and fruit exporters.

At Douala port, Marc Van Peel and his delegation developed partnerships with actors of the log yard and of the fruit terminal. At kribi port, they met Bolloré group in charge of the container terminal.

At the end of this roadshow, Stéphane Doppagne (Belgium ambassador to Cameroon) indicated that Antwerp port’s authorities would organize other visits in the coming months.
