(Business in Cameroon) - Since January 2018, Cameroon’s airline Camair Co just handled an estimated 200 tons of freight, the company reports. Figures showed that Camair Co’s air freight is still very low, representing barely 1% of the 25,505 tons handled by all airlines operating in Cameroon, according to the Aviation Authority's 2016 scores.

Further, the regulator said that in 2013, air freight market in Cameroon was 55% dominated by Air France. But the latter now faces stiff competition with the arrival since October 2017 of Luxembourg operator Cargolux, a European giant in cargo air transport which has nearly 50 years experience.
