(Business in Cameroon) - Rwand’Air seeks a partnership with Yaoundé-Nsimalen Leopold Longo international airport.

According to Aéroports du Cameroun (ADC), in charge of Cameroon’s airports, Rwand’Air executives met with ADC’s general director Thomas Owona Assoumou on June 14, 2019. They discussed the conditions for the deployment of Rwand’Air on the Yaoundé-Nsimalen.

Aéroports du Cameroun adds that later, the Rwandan airline will meet with the director of this port platform for the technical aspects of this promising collaboration. 

Created in December 2002, Rwand’Air is 77 % owned by Rwanda. 23% is owned by Cargo silver back Freightores, which operates flights in Rwanda, Southern and Eastern Africa, Asia and Europe.
