2nd edition of Cameroon Investment Forum to take place from 9 to 10 November 2017 in Douala

(Business in Cameroon) - The Investment Promotion Agency (API) of Cameroon is organising, from 9-10 November 2017 in Douala, the economic capital of the country, the 2nd edition of the Cameroon Investment Forum (CIF), announced the MD of API during a press conference in Yaoundé.

During this edition, to which about 300 Cameroonian, African, American and European companies are expected to attend, as highlighted by Marthe Angéline Mindja, MD of API, “we will emphasise the new framework to promote private investment in Cameroon, which exempts companies from taxes and custom duties for 15 years, including 10 years during their installation phase and 5 years during their production phase”.

In addition to roundtables, B to B meetings, as well as an exhibition-fair during which companies will display their experise, the 2nd edition of CIF, we learned, will be the opportunity to take stock of the business contacts made during the first edition, which took place from 25-27 November 2015, and which saw the attendance of 200 companies.
