Chinese Tanyuan Construction lands 1.7 billion FCFA contract to construct stands at Limbe annex stadium

(Business in Cameroon) - The government of Cameroon, via its Public Markets ministry, just awarded Chinese firm Tanyuan Construction, a contract for the construction of the stands of the Limbe annex stadium in the South-West region.

Valued at a global cost of 1.7 billion FCFA as stated in the call to tenders results, this project is to be completed in a maximum of eight months. Meanwhile, the group of companies comprising Cameroon Services et réalisation and Italian firm Impressa Sartori, was awarded a contract of 548 million FCFA for providing equipment at the Limbé Omnisports Stadium.

These two infrastructures are built in the framework of the National Program for the development of sport infrastructures which is to enable Cameroon to host the upcoming women and men African Football cup of Nations respectively in 2016 and 2019.
