(Business in Cameroon) - Standardise sources of information on external financing. Such is the target of a seminar recently organised in the Cameroonian capital by the general management of the Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation (DGTC) of the Ministry of Finance.

Indeed, as noted by Julien Serge Abouem, Director of the Public Accounting Department, “there is a disparity in terms of sources of information on the implementation of the BIP (Public Investment Budget). Hence the necessity of getting all the players in the external financing chain together, to develop a set of budget reporting methods”.

A en croire ce responsables de la DGTC, une uniformisation des sources d »informations devrait permettre «d’avoir une meilleure présentation des comptes du Budget d’investissement public devant la représentation nationale et la Chambre des comptes» du pays.

According to this DGTC manager, standardising sources of information will serve towards “providing a better presentation of the Public Investment Budget accounts to the national representation and the Court of Auditors” of the country.
