(Business in Cameroon) - The Algerian society of fairs and exhibitions (SAFEX) just ended in Yaoundé, the first edition of the Algerian fair of Yaoundé. During this charm offensive led by Algerian enterprises, twelve companies were exhibitors.

These companies operate in sectors such as construction, household appliances, textile, pharmaceutical industry and agro-food. Yaoundé’s event was just a glance at the upcoming Algerian economic days which are to be held in Douala, Cameroon’s capital city, in 2016.

These economic days should coincide with the opening of new flight routes from Alger to Douala and Yaoundé as announced by Air Algérie. The arrival of the Algerian airline company in Cameroon’s sky should boost the presently moderate exchanges between both countries.
