(Business in Cameroon) - Over the past few days, a delegation of German investors from the German-African Economic Association are exploring investment opportunities in Cameroon. Led by the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in the country, Hans-Dieter Stell, these economic operators are meeting local government authorities to sell their expertise in certain sectors of activity.

It concerns sectors that are as varied as the production of gas, renewable energy, setting up infrastructure for the production of potable water, or also road infrastructure construction as well as other associated works. At the Ministry of Energy and Water where the delegation of German investors had a meeting, the Minister Basile Atangana Kouna expressed the wish that his guests interest themselves in the Cameroonian gas sector, as well as a project to drill 10,000 boreholes in the country, which is part of the Government Emergency Plan.
